Our Nordisk Village journey takes us to Yunnan province, southwest of China. With a population of just under 48 million and an area of 394,000 km2, the province has a 4,000 km border running from Myanmar to the west, Laos to the south, and Vietnam to the southeast.
In trade terms, Yunnan was one of the most important places in the Ancient Caravan Road of Tea and Horses which extended from Yunnan to Sichuan, Tibet, and India. and our Nordisk Village is found here, in Kunming, Provincial capital, in the picturesque lakeside setting of the Spring City Golf Club & Resort.
